However, as you complete all optional objectives for all camps (see " Explosions Are Not Enough") and complete all scavenging locations (see " Looked Everywhere") you will unavoidably collect all project parts to be able to build all of the projects at all strongholds. Inside each stronghold, you can go up to the light outline of a project and hold to track its parts on the map to see where they are, if you want to prioritize any projects. These are set lootable items in set locations around the map. All of the rest of the projects need project parts to complete. A few are only able to be built after completing certain wasteland missions, which you'll be doing for the " Stop and Smell the Roses" achievement.

Mine, I have just the 1500 stockpile to do, and it takes 15 mins to refill. Jeet level 3 refills in 9 minutes, check how fast is yours That seems the best answer. This will seem like a huge amount during your playthrough, but as you mop up scavenging locations at the end of the completion, you'll amass enough scrap for this, especially if you follow the steps in the roadmap.Īll of the other projects at the strongholds are the same (Maggot Farm, Water Storage, Armory, etc.) and are completed the same way. Guys, it seems stronghold upgrades decrease time between refills. This means you'll need 3000 scrap per stronghold, and with a total of four strongholds, you'll need 12,000 scrap to complete all these projects. To complete the scrap stockpile project at a single stronghold, you'll need to donate 500 scrap for the small stockpile, 1000 scrap for the medium stockpile, and 1500 scrap for the large stockpile. Therefore, this project should be saved for the very end of the game after you've done virtually everything else, because you're going to need all the scrap you can get for the vast majority of your playthrough. This project requires you to donate scrap to the stronghold and offers no reward for doing so. The other unique project at each stronghold is the scrap stockpile project. Completing it completes the Dog and Buggy project in not only Jeet's stronghold but all four strongholds. When you first arrive at Jeet's stronghold, you'll be able to accept the Dinki-Di wasteland mission. The first project you'll likely complete is the Dog and Buggy project. You can easily track the parts required for any project by approaching the project location in the stronghold and holding when prompted to have the locations of required parts displayed on the map. There are four strongholds (Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye, and Deep Friah) that have projects to complete, and the projects are identical at each stronghold. Note that after completing the Dinki Di Wasteland Mission early in the game, you will automatically have the Dog & Buggy project finished at all strongholds, however the others must be done individually. Scrap Stockpile - No benefit, but required for Platinum.

As far as I could tell, it's just cosmetic, but I'm not 100 sure on that.
MAD MAX SCRAP STOCKPILE UPGRADE
Survey Crew - reveals all Scavenging locations in the territory controlled by the strongholdĭog and Buggy - allows the use of Chum's Buggy and Dog to search for minefields It cost a large amount of scrap to fully upgrade the stronghold. Scrap Crew - provides the player with periodic scrap collection, including while offline, provided the console has an Internet connection Oil Well - refills your fuel when you enter the strongholdĬleanup Crew - automatically retrieves scrap from any vehicles destroyed by Max Maggot Farm - refills your health when you enter the strongholdĪrmory - refills your ammo when you enter the stronghold Water Storage - refills your canteen when you enter the stronghold

Each of these projects (except for the Scrap Stockpile) offer benefits to Max and are worth completing as soon as possible. There are a total of 11 Projects that must be completed at each of the four stronghold locations (Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye and Deep Friah) in the game.
